Acorn Quilt - WIP

This quilt is not finished. It is in a state more advanced than pictured here, which is pinned to its batting & backing but not quilted. I want to quilt it nicely and I am too scared of free motion to try, lol!

This is my fall quilt (doesn't everybody have one? lol). It is on the smaller side - meant as a couch quilt. The pattern was the cover quilt on a magazine (I forget which one). The magazine pattern did not involve the flying geese border, that was my idea! And of course, as with calculating your own things, inevitably you mess it up. I cut way too many squares because I thought you got 1 or 2 flying geese from each and you get 4 instead! The flying geese are 2" x 1" if I remember correctly. Most of them came out pretty nice!
